Almost any clean fabric garment works well: shirts, dresses, ties, scarves, pyjamas, baby clothes, denim jackets, and even blankets. The more fabric you provide, the larger or more detailed the bear can be. We recommend at least one adult-sized shirt for a standard bear.
How long does it take to make a memory bear?
Each memory bear takes approximately 2–3 weeks to handcraft from start to finish. This includes cutting, sewing, stuffing, and adding any personalised embroidery. Turnaround time may vary depending on our current order volume, and we will keep you updated throughout the process.
Can I include embroidery on my memory bear?
Yes. We offer custom embroidery on the bear’s chest, paw, or ear for R50 per design. Common choices include the loved one’s name, dates of birth and passing, or a short message like “Forever in my heart.” You choose the font and placement.
